Paralegals and Legal Assistants are a Vital Part of the Bashore Green Team

Let’s face it – in popular media attorneys get all the credit for work in the legal sector. They are the ones depicted in popular films and TV shows as they question witnesses, uncover evidence, and hear the judges’ verdicts.

What those shows miss is that there’s more to the team than the lawyers. And our team at Bashore Green is reliant in every way on the talent, knowledge and experience of our incredible group of paralegals and legal assistants. It’s fair to say that we wouldn’t have been able to grow into the firm we are today without their constant support. In fact you may be surprised to discover how active they are on behalf of your cases.

Paralegals are legal assistants who regularly handle tasks that are critical to the outcome of your case. Although they don’t actually give legal advice or represent you during trials, they play a huge role in legal proceedings from the time a case is filed. Our paralegals interview clients and witnesses, conduct important research, and prepare court documents.

At various points in recent years, the paralegal profession ranked among the top 50 jobs in the United States. U.S. News has indicated that: “The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projects 15 percent employment growth for paralegals between 2016 and 2026, adding 41,800 positions. The anticipated growth rate is almost double that of lawyers.”

The paralegals and incredible legal assistants at our firm include Elizabeth, Shawn, Cheryl, Juliya, Brittany, Faith, Marianna, Michelle, Ericka, Cindy, Olivia, Megan, Becca, and Mariam. Our talented bookkeepers Glenda and Lori help to make sure our clients get their checks and the firm as a whole runs smoothly on the finance side. We thank each of our team members for their dedication to the firm and more importantly to our clients. We’re so happy to have them as part of the Bashore Green family. Every one of our paralegals shares in the joy you get when a check is cut the financial support you so richly deserve.
